2019 Ambassador GIVE HOPE USA® Wellness-Medial Aid Program

George E. Feaster is a longtime resident of Largo. He believes in the importance of giving back to his community both professionally and personally. George opened Feaster Memorial Home in 1964. In 1984, he joined Moss Feaster Funeral Homes, part of the Dignity Memorial Group and continues to serve families at Serenity Funeral Home and Serenity Gardens Memorial Park and Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home and Cemetery.

He was a committee chairperson for Partners and Progress and Largo Library Foundation that developed Largo Central Park, Central Park Performing Arts Center and Largo Library. George has many organizations and groups that he has given his time and resources to including being a member for over 60 years of Largo Lions Club, Largo Elks and Star Lodge #78 F& AM. He was a founding member of St. Dunstan’s Anglican Church in 1957. Other important organizations in Largo include Largo Library, Central Park Performing Arts Foundation and Religious Community Services.

Through Lions International, George was instrumental in developing the relationship with Largo Lions and Tosayamada Lions Club Twinning and its Sister City Friendship with Kami City, Japan. A 50-year celebration of friendship is planned for November 2019 with 22 guests visiting Largo, FL. George continues to be an active member of our community.

George and his wife, Kim, have been supporters of Charity Works for many years.
