The Arise Foundation's programs educate at-risk youth (and these days what youth isn't at risk?) pre-K-12, using 260 life skills topics specifically designed for students who have yet to learn how to learn.

This statistically proven approach to educating at-risk youth combines culturally familiar visual information with oral interaction. Youths make positive life choices because they learn how to reason, analyze and communicate without becoming frustrated or angry.

Since 1986, ARISE Life-Management Skills programs have proven effective in a wide variety of educational settings. Browse our life skills material and discover how to change lifestyles that encourage passivity, boredom, and alienation.  Contact us at

Sneak Peek:  Florida State Contracts for CAN Participants & Visitors

How It Works

By working together, nonprofits can achieve purchasing power from many of the same vendors already qualified by government agencies.  Although most states have not authorized vendors to extend their contracts to nonprofits, through the CAN program we can achieve government parity pricing and/or better for our clients.

HOW TO GET THERE

Compare prices you pay to those paid by local governments.  For example, in the state of Florida go to the Florida Government Network CLICK HERE.

Then, click on "Purchasing DIRECT" under Government Network. Choose a path by clicking on "Purchasers."

At Purchasers' Center, browse Florida State Contract Purchasing System Main Index. and SNAPS. Take a few minutes to look up and compare prices, vendors, and contracts.  Aren't these the prices you'd rather be paying?

For further purchasing resources, check out the The Federal MarketPlace
