This ecommerce website is designed to assist seniors age workers in locating jobs and companies that are committed to hiring senior employees.

Charity Works Develops Website to Assist Seinors in Finding Jobs

Due to the inflationary conditions in our economy many seniors are finding it necessary to re-enter the work force to supplement their retirement income. Rising food, gas, medical and energy costs have devalued social security and pension incomes, and it has become a necessity for thousands of seniors to sustain employment in order to cover basic living costs.

Charity Works is developing a nationwide program to assist seniors with this problem. We understand that many seniors are facing a difficult time finding employment. This is due in part because the resources available to seniors in job placement assistance are very limited.

It is important to note the average senior worker will usually have 30 plus years of working experience and may have held several different types of jobs during their career. Most senior workers possess an outstanding work ethic and are very dependable and reliable. On average, the majority of seniors are health conscious, maintain healthy diets, exercise regularly, don't smoke, and rarely have alcohol consumption or drug use problems. In addition, over the last 5 to 7 years there have been remarkable advancements in medical technology, and now its not uncommon for a senior to be in excellent heath, and well able to be a productive and efficient worker.

SeniorWorkForce.org has been designed to help seniors find jobs as well as to help employers find qualified seniors to hire. There are multiple services available for seniors, (i.e.) online resume building, career guides, resume posting, resume marketing, skill matching, and numerous other services. All these services are made easy and simple to use.

Both senior jobs seekers and employers can register, create a profile and use all services free of cost. Job seekers can build their own professional resume and post it on the website. Employers can register, create and list employment ads to market for qualified workers at no cost.

For job seekers, our database technology will match their skills and employment preferences to jobs. For employers, qualified jobseekers will be matched to their job hiring requirements. Both job seekers and employers will be automatically be notified of these matches. This ecommerce technology will benefit both the employers and job seekers as it should result in thousands of qualified senior workers being hired in jobs where skill sets are matched to employor job hiring requirements.

Currently, a beta testing website is available for the Tampa Bay, Florida area. This will be followed by a national website that will service all the major metropolitan areas in the United States.
